Pepsi Jordan Signs Cooperation Agreement with Tkiyet Um Ali For the Fifth Consecutive Year

Pepsi Jordan Cooperation with Tkiyet Um Ali

Jordan Ice and Aerated Water Company – PepsiCo Jordan renewed its cooperation agreement with Tkiyet Um Ali (TUA) for the fifth consecutive year. 

Motassem Salameh, Pepsi’s Human Resources Director signed the agreement at Pepsi’s headquarters while Ibrahim Fakher, Fundraising Director, signed the agreement on behalf of Tkiyet Um Ali. 

Under the agreement, Pepsi Jordan will donate the full cost of the food parcels designated to a group of underprivileged TUA beneficiary families across Jordan for a full year, which will ensure that the food parcels are delivered to the most disadvantaged families year-round. In addition, Pepsi Jordan will sponsor one of the Mawaed Al-Rahman events hosted by TUA at its headquarters in the Al-Mahata area of Amman, which includes the distribution of mineral water and soft drinks during the Iftar meal.

 “This agreement comes as part of our unwavering support of both philanthropic and charitable work of Tkyiet UM Ali, and it falls within our corporate social responsibility activities. We believe in the importance of spreading the spirit of solidarity and brotherhood among the members of our society during this holy month," said Director General of Human Resources at Pepsi Jordan, Motassem Salameh.  TUA’s Director General, Samer Balkar said, “We appreciate  the support of Pepsi Jordan which reflects their strong commitment to supporting our sustainable food aid programs and seasonal campaigns, which aim to eradicate hunger in Jordan.” 

Tkiyet Um Ali is currently providing sustainable food support to 30,000 underprivileged families living in extreme poverty in 12 governorates across the Kingdom, through monthly food packages containing 24 food items that meet the nutritional requirements of a family’s monthly needs, throughout the year.
